The park is open from sunrise to sunset.  Park gates are locked at sunset.

Visitors will find hiking and biking trails throughout the park.  Tennis courts are available on a first come first serve basis.  Picnic shelters can be reserved for social gatherings and the historic Stone House is available for community and civic group meetings with attendance held open to the public (fees start at $15 per two-hour time period).

The mayor has announced that public boating will be available on the Forest Hill Park lake.  Click here to read the Media Advisory.

A playground for young children is located near the tennis courts.

If you are interested in reserving a picnic shelter or the Stone House, please contact the City of Richmond's Department of Parks and Recreation, Permits and Scheduling office, (804) 646-5733.
